LEGO Star Wars Death Star 10188

Another entry in the Star Wars LEGO collection for 2008 sees the exclusive LEGO Death Star. Model number 10188 has 3803 pieces and is suitable for ages 12 and over.

The Death Star is a battle station and super weapon developed by the Empire that appeared in the Star Wars movies. In the films, the first Death Star is featured in Star Wars Episode III and IV: A New Hope, a second Death Star is under construction in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

The Death’s Star prime weapon is a superlaser which can wipe out entire Planets; this horrific weapon was used as a threat to cower rebellious nations to the Empire’s will.

Fans of Star Wars can build the ultimate Death Star space station with all the fine details to create an awesome play experience and LEGO fans too will have hours of building fun plus collectors will be impressed with the amount of detail gone into this masterpiece from LEGO.

This authentic looking battle station has all the mini figures and rooms to re-enact scenes from the classic film and having all the LEGO people from the movie is a bonus in itself. The Death Star featured in the movie made life on board more comfortable by building parks, shopping centres and recreation areas and these could be found in the general sectors of the station.
